Fall is approaching around the globe. And with the colder temperatures of fall come fall fashion. Although I love warmer temperatures and summer dresses, the things you can do with fall fashion and layering are so exciting!

Off the shoulder ruffles
These are actually more like two trends in one. However, the trend still stands. Off the shoulder tops made a huge comeback in this year’s spring/summer collections, everywhere from the runway to the high street. Thankfully for all lovers of bare shoulders, they are still relevant for fall/winter. But give them a new season update by combining them with another fall trend: ruffles. A large ruffled section around your shoulders will bring the trend back up to date. Mixing different textures is also popular for fall fashion. You can score two fashion points in one with this look.
Statement fur
There’s nothing quite like a good fur (or faux fur) coat to see you through the change of seasons. With fur, you can follow the rule of ‘the bigger the better’. Shades of brown, tan and black never go out of fashion, but consider adding a pop of color to your fur this fall. J. Crew introduced a cotton-candy pink faux fur piece on the runway at New York Fashion Week that really sparked the trend.
Pant suits
The humble pant is back in true form this fall. Though tights and skirts for fall are definitely cute, pants definitely keep you more warm. Thankfully, pants have come a long way since the days of boring pinstripe suits. The runways have been awash with different textures, materials, and prints. You can also combine the pant trend with the other trend of coordinated separates by buying a matching jacket or top to go with the pant. Chokers
90s favorite the choker has seen a huge revival in the past few months. Otherwise, you can make the choker the focus of your whole look. They are a cheap yet effective way to bring your outfit on trend.
