I’m always looking for gifting inspiration, with a picky family to work with when it comes to presents. So I was very excited when I recently stumbled upon desirelist, an easy-to-use website that has pre-built lists for every special occasion and every different type of person. Desirelist also allows you to build your own lists, so that you no longer have to pretend to love that sweater your parents gifted you or that interesting perfume your boyfriend thought smelled divine. Desirelist takes the guessing out of gifting and receiving gifts, for the totally clueless in your life (yourself included!).
My absolute favorite thing about creating lists on desirelist is that it’s as easy as installing a plugin to your browser, and then “desirelisting” any desires that catch your eye while browsing the web. How convenient is that? Desirelist can be used for any and every occasion, and with handy reminders at the top of the website for all special occasions coming up, you won’t forget to buy a gift for that special person in your life.
I recently created a comprehensive list of presents for Father’s Day, using presents inspiration I found on desirelist through their various lists, including their own Father’s Day gift list, as well as items I knew any dad would love and had desirelisted from the web. I then shared that list with my brother so that we could review and discuss what we should get dad. In particular I was wowed by the unique items I came across on desirelist and would not have thought of on my own, such as a Quilted Checkers Board to carry on the go and Digital Imaging Binoculars for precise bird watching. Check out my Father’s Day gift guide and tell me what you think, and head over to www.desirelist.com to build your own lists!
